Heard both sides. With the consent of both parties the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. 2.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondent Nos.3 and 4 in not processing the application of the petitioners for registration of the Trade Union, as illegal and arbitrary. 3.

Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that though they made an application before the registration office of the Trade Union, till date no orders are passed.

Learned counsel for the respondents would submit that the application made by the petitioners was returned with the objections. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners resubmitted the same after complying with the objections.

Taking into consideration the rival submissions made and without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to deal with the application made by the petitioners for registration of the trade union, if the same is in order, in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. No costs.

CPK, J W.P.No.19061 of 2017 As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
