THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION Nos.7679 AND 7681 OF 2011 COMMON ORDER:

These Writ Petitions are filed praying to declare the proceedings No.E1/1(03)/08-ATK(N), dated 15.01.2009, and No.St/660(2)/2009-RM(NLR), dated 06.05.2009, and Proceedings No.O3/1(63)/2008-KVL, dated 18.07.2008, and No.St/660(26)/2008RM(NLR), dated 10.06.2009, respectively, as illegal and arbitrary, and consequently to direct the respondents to consider the petitioners case for regularisation with retrospective effect from 01.01.2010 and other consequential benefits. By proceedings dated 15.01.2009 and 18.07.2008, the petitioners services were terminated/dispensed with. By proceedings dated 06.05.2009 and 10.06.2009, the earlier orders are reviewed and the petitioners are re-engaged into service as Contract Driver and Contract Conductor afresh.

2. This Court, by order dated 23.03.2011, in W.P.M.P.Nos.9545 of 2011 and 9547 of 2011, respectively, directed the 1st respondent to consider the case of the petitioners for regularisation in the light of the order dated 23.11.2010 passed in W.P.No.28948 of 2010.

3. Counter affidavit is filed on behalf of the respondents. It is stated that the services of the petitioners were regularised with effect from 01.10.2010. It is further asserted that the petitioners are not entitled to monetary benefits.

4. As seen from the orders of this Court in W.P.No.28948 of 2010, this Court directed to consider the benefit of service between the date of termination and the date of re-engagement, but held that the petitioners were not entitled to monetary benefits. In the instant cases also the same relief is already granted.

5. In view of the relief of regularisation granted to the petitioners, learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners are satisfied with the relief granted.

6. The Writ Petitions are accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, filed in these Writ Petitions shall stand closed.
