THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.27220 OF 2017 O R D E R:

The writ petition is filed challenging the action of the 1st respondent in carrying out an inquiry and or adjudication under the provisions of the Insurance Act, 1938 and Regulations framed thereunder in respect of the petitioner's complaint dated 11.8.2015.

The grievance of the petitioner is that he had made a complaint against the 2nd respondent invoking the supervisory jurisdiction of the 1st respondent. In spite of the same having been made as far as back as on 11.8.2015, no action is taken so far. Learned counsel appearing for the 1st respondent, on instructions, submits that the complaint of the petitioner is under consideration and the same will be considered in accordance with law within a period of three weeks.

Recording the said submission made on behalf of the 1st respondent without expressing any opinion, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the complaint of the petitioner by following due process as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order. No order as to costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
