O R D E R:- This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief:

"....to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the representation dated 20.11.2015 as expeditious as possible in passing an award to compensate the additionally acquired agricultural land belonging to the petitioners to an extent of Ac.02.35 guntas in Sy.Nos.22/11 & 22/12 situated in Komatichenu village, Kasipet Mandal, Adilabad District in accordance with the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013." The learned counsel for the petitioners has drawn the attention of this Court to the Communication dated 20.11.2015 in Rc.No.

A/3632/2011 sent by the 3rd respondent - Revenue Divisional Officer, Mancherial whereby the District Collector, Adilabad was informed about the facts of the acquired land and the balance extent of the land available with the petitioners. It also reveals that the petitioners requested the authorities to consider their entire land and pay compensation therefor. The learned counsel has further submitted that copies of the Communication were also sent to the Tahsildar, Kasipet Mandal and the General Manager, Singereni Colleries Company Limited for information and necessary action, however, till date, the case of the petitioners has not been considered.

Keeping in view the averments made in the writ affidavit and the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with the following direction:

"The 2nd respondent - District Collector, Adilabad District is directed to take decision on the Communication dated 20.11.2015 made by the 3rd respondent, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioners in writing within one week thereafter.

A copy of this order shall be sent to the 2nd respondent."

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel to the disposal of the writ petition, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
