THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.23134 of 2016 ORDER:

The petitioner claims that she is the only daughter to her father, who was employed in the Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. She was married to an unemployed and as such both of them are dependant on her father. They were living along with her father in House No.55-1755/2, Renuka Residency Apartments, Maddilapalem, Visakhapatnam. After the death of her father, now they are residing at Nandigama, Vizianagaram District. She came to know about G.O.Ms.No.350, dated 30.07.2000, providing for appointment on compassionate grounds to the family members of the deceased, and the married daughter is also eligible, provided she is dependant on the deceased. She passed SSC examination and she is entitled for the post of attender. She submitted an application on 16.12.2013 to the respondents and when the same was not considered, the present Writ Petition is filed. This Court issued notice before admission on 14.07.2016 and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents appeared before this Court.

In view of the nature of the relief sought in the Writ Petition, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.12.2013 for appointment on compassionate grounds in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and pass appropriate orders.
