O R D E R
Alleging that respondent - police authorities are calling the petitioner to the police station and harassing him, the present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, produced written instructions of Inspector of Police, Srisailam Circle, Kurnool District, dated 05.09.2018, denying the allegation of the petitioner and stating that five crimes have been registered against the petitioner and based on the orders of SubDivisional Police Officer, Atmakur, vide C.No.38/SDPO-ATR/Shets/2018 dated 11.06.2018, rowdy sheet has been opened against the petitioner on the file of Srisailam I Town Police Station on 11.06.2018 and in one of the cases in C.C.No.
556 of 2017, pending on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Admakur, as petitioner failed to appear before the court, NBW was issued and later on the appearance of the petitioner, the same was recalled. It is stated that petitioner was never harassed by frequently calling him to the police station. Recording the above statement made in the written instructions, writ petition is disposed of, directing the police not to interfere with the life and liberty of the petitioner, except in accordance with law. It is made clear that this order will not preclude the respondent - police from investigating into the crimes registered against the petitioner in accordance with law.
