ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking the following - "....to issue an order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus r any other appropriate order or direction declaring the action of the respondents No.2 in seizing the Rice of the petitioners no.1 and 2 each 10 quintals and the vehicle Auto trolley bearing No.AP 15 Y 5541 of the petitioner No.3 through panchanama dated 18.03.2009 even though the said rice is not belong to public Distribution system and belong to the petitioners no.1 and 2 brought up from their agricultural fields and even though the petitioners filed a petition on 24-3-2009 before the respondent No.1 requesting to release the said rice and vehicle in favour of the petitioners not releasing the same, even though the respondent no.2 addressed a letter to the respondent no.

1 stating that the rice seized is not belong to PDS systems and belong to the petitioners no.1 and 2 brought up by them from their fields, as arbitrary, illegal, null and void and violative of principles of natural justice and also violative of Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India and pass...."

This court while admitting the writ petition on 30.04.2009 passed interim direction to the respondents to release the seized stock of rice in favour of the petitioners 1 and 2 each 10 quitals and the vehicle Auto Trolley bearing No.AP 15 Y 5541 in favour of the petitioner No.3 immediately.

The relief, which has been sought in the main writ petition, has been granted by virtue of the interim order dated 30.04.2009. In view of the same, no further orders need to be passed in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
