ORDER:

The petitioner, who is the husband of G.Srilatha, permanent fair price shop dealer of Shop No.601 (Old No.502/A), Circle-V at Amba Gardens, Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad filed this writ petition feeling aggrieved by the action of the respondents

in not appointing him as fair price shop dealer under the scheme of compassionate appointment.

This Court by order, dated 20.03.2009, has issued interim direction to consider the case of the petitioner for transfer of authorisation or for his appointment as temporary dealer in respect of the above-mentioned fair price shop. At the hearing, the learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies (TS), on instructions, submitted that in pursuance of the above-mentioned interim direction of this Court, the petitioner's case was considered and he was appointed as permanent fair price shop dealer on 30.05.2014 by respondent No.2. In the light of this subsequent development, the cause in this writ petition does not survive for adjudication and the writ petition is accordingly disposed of as infructuous.
