THE HON' BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.30871 of 2015 ORDER:

It is the case of the petitioners that the 2nd petitioner filed a complaint against the 6th respondent in Chatranaka Police Station whereupon the 5th respondent-Sub Inspector of Police registered a case in FIR No.352 of 2015 for the offences punishable under 354, 354(D) and 506 IPC (Criminal Amendment Act, 2013) (Nirbhaya Act); and as a counterblast, the 6th respondent filed a complaint against the petitioners which was registered as FIR No.353 of 2015 for the offence punishable under Section 3(1)(x) of SC/ST (POA) Act. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned counsel for the 6th respondent, and the learned Government Pleader for Home. This Court, on 21.09.2015, while issuing notice to the respondents, granted interim stay of arrest, however, directed that investigation may go on.

It is now submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that investigation has been completed and charge sheet has also been filed before the competent Court. Learned Government Pleader placed before the Court a copy of the charge sheet. Learned counsel for the 6th respondent also asserts that charge sheet has been filed and the matter is coming up for trial.

In those circumstances, in the light of the developments subsequent to the filing of the writ petition, no further orders are needed in the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. The interim stay stands vacated. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall also stand closed. ___________________________ CHALLA KODANDA RAM, J 13th February, 2020 KSM
