HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 27903 of 2012 ORDER:

As there was no representation on behalf of the respondents on 28.09.2015 the matter was directed to be listed to today under the caption "for judgment". Even today also there is no representation on behalf of the respondents either in the morning session or in the afternoon session. Hence, heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and perused the record. The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the third respondent for deleting the names of the petitioners in the pahanies from 1993-94 to till date in respect of the land admeasuring Ac.1.32 gts., situated in Sy.No.740/A of Devarakonda Village and Mandal, Nalgonda District, pending revision before the first respondent, as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1972, and consequently to set-aside the order passed by the second respondent in Appeal Case No.E1/408/2008 dated 07.07.2012, pending disposal of the revision by directing the respondents not to make any changes in the revenue records.

Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, the learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the revision pending before him at the earliest. Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the circumstances stated above, the first respondent is advised to dispose of the revision filed by the petitioners against the appeal Case No.E1/408/2008 dated 07.07.2012, in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if the same is still pending as on today. Till such time, the interim order granted by this Court on 07.09.2012 shall remain in force. It is needless to mention that if the revision filed by the petitioners is already disposed of, the petitioners are at liberty to challenge the same independently.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
