THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION NO.9210 OF 2014 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 6. The prayer sought in the Writ Petition is as under:- "...to issue an order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ declaring the action of the respondents in not taking any action against the unsocial elements whose visuals are clearly available and whose photographs are developed basing on the video record even though an inhuman attack taken place on 17.02.2014 at about 11.30 am and basing on which a FIR No.24 of 2014 of PS Ramgopalpet registered and even after submitting representations before the respondent Nos.1, 3 to 5 dated 19.02.2014, 21.02.2014 and 24.02.

2014, is nothing but arbitrary, illegal, null and void and violative of principles of natural justice and also violative of Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India. Consequently direct the respondents to take necessary action against the unsocial elements whose visuals are clearly appearing in the video record in regarding with an inhuman attack incident taken place on 17.02.2014 basing on which a FIR No.24 of 2014 registered by the Police Ramgopalpet, Secunderabad, Hyderabad and considering the representations submitted by the petitioner dated 19.02.2014, 21.02.2014 and 24.02.2014 and provide protection to the lives of the petitioner and his family members at their residence ground floor premises No.2-4-259, Ramgopalpet, Nallagutta, M.G.

Road, Secunderabad, Hyderabad and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice."

Learned Government Pleader brought to the notice of this Court that pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.24 of 2014 was registered on the file of the Ramgopalpet P.S., Secunderabad and after completion of investigation, charge sheet was filed. After taking cognizance of

the offences, the case was numbered as S.C.No.115 of 2019 on the file of the V Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Hyderabad.

In view of the above facts and circumstances, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the Writ Petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
