This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed seeking the following relief: "declaring the action of 2nd Respondent in not passing any orders on the interlocutory application filed by petitioner before the 2nd Respondent in Revision Petition No. D2/2875/2015 as illegal and arbitrary and to consequently direct the 2nd Respondent to forthwith grant interim directions on the interlocutory application filed by petitioner and also direct the 2nd Respondent to dispose of the above Revision Petition."

Since this Court is not adjudicating the case on merits, it is not necessary to issue notice to respondents 5 to 10. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner mainly submits that though he filed Revision Petition in the year 2015 vide Revision Petition No.D2/2875/2015, challenging the order, dated 24.08.2015, vide case No.D.Dis/706/15/C passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kandukur, but till date no orders are passed either in the stay application or in the main revision petition. 4.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue would submit that the 2nd respondent-District Collector may be directed to pass appropriate orders at the earliest, if the revision petition filed by the petitioner is still pending consideration. 5.
Having regard to the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent-District Collector, Prakasam District, to dispose of Revision Petition No.D2/2875/2015 filed by the petitioner under Section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land
and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till such time, status quo obtaining as on today with regard to entries made in revenue records and possession of the land in dispute shall be maintained.
