Between:

S.Jyothi Laxmi, w/o. Sri Venkat, Aged 38 years, Presently working as Inspector of Police, Vikarabad Women P.S., Vikarabad, Vikarabad District, Telangana district.

.....Petitioner and The State of Telangana, rep.by its Principal Secretary, Home Department, Secretariat, Hyderabad, Telangana state and another.

.....Respondents The Court made the following:

ORDER:

Claim of petitioner for promotion to the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police against Scheduled Tribe (Woman) quota was rejected by the Director General of Police by his Memo dated 03.11.2017. Petitioner claimed to have made further representation to the Principal Secretary to the Government, Home Department, on 07.07.2018.

2.

Though prayer sought in the writ petition is to grant promotion against Scheduled Tribe (Woman) vacancy, learned counsel for petitioner submits that since petitioner has already ventilated her grievance before the Government, it would suffice her interest for the present if direction is issued to dispose of the said representation. 3.

Having regard to the said submission, without expressing any opinion on merits, Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the Principal Secretary to Government, Home Department, to consider the representation of petitioner dated 07.07.2018 and take appropriate decision as warranted by law on due consideration of claim of petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed. ___________________________ JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO kkm
