THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE K.C. BHANU WRIT PETITION No.14838 of 2015 ORDER:

The relief sought for in the Writ Petition is as follows: "to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, to declare the action of the 3rd respondent in calling the petitioner herein to the police station in relation to an unconcerned FIR No. 98/2015 and threatening to implicate him in the said case, as being illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and violative of Article 21 of the Constitution of India, and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to take action against the 3rd respondent for misusing official power and adopting illegal methods, to grant such other relief or reliefs as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, states that no case is registered against the petitioner and he is not being called to the Police Station.

In the circumstances, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents not to call the petitioner to the Police Station except in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
