HON'BLE DR. JUSTICE K.G. SHANKAR CONTEMPT CASE NO. 1846 OF 2012 ORDER:

The Writ Petitioner sought for issuance of contempt proceedings against the respondents. A direction was issued to the respondents to consider regularising the compulsory wait period of the petitioner from 8.8.1969 till 15.2.1970.

The learned Standing Counsel for A.P. Transco, produced proceedings dated 9.5.2013, wherein the period of non duty from 8.8.1969 till 15.2.1970 was treated as compulsory wait period.

The direction of the Court is consequently complied with. I, therefore, see no merit in this petition, as I do not find any contempt on the part of the respondents.

Consequently, this Contempt Case is closed. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the subsequent conduct of the respondents, it may lead to fresh cause of action, in which

event, the petitioner shall certainly at liberty to invoke due process of law accordingly.
