HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.31490 OF 2018 O R D E R :

This writ petition is filed challenging the high handed action of the respondent authorities in harassing the petitioner without following the due process of law. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions stating that basing on the complaint of the 4th respondent a GD entry was made on 26.08.2018 and preliminary enquiry was conducted; that the respondent police called the petitioner only for the purpose of enquiry.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that though GD entry was made on 26.08.2018, even as on today, no crime is registered against the petitioner; and that in the name of enquiry petitioner cannot be harassed. In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent police not to interfere with the life and liberty of the petitioner, except in accordance with law. However, this order will not preclude the respondent police from investigating into the offence. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed. _______________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY, J 20.09.2018 t k.
