Petitioner claims to be belonging to scheduled caste community and under the landless poor, he was assigned land to an extent of Ac.1.60 cents in RS.No.542/3, Kethavaram Village, Jangareddygudem Mandal, vide proceedings dated 15.04.2004. While so, petitioner alleges that third parties are seeking to encroach into the land and evict the petitioner forcibly by occupying the land. According to the petitioner even in the revenue records, his name was deleted. In the representation dated 17.05.2017 addressed to the Revenue Divisional Officer, petitioner ventilated his grievance against illegal encroachment/dispossession of the petitioner by upper caste people and sought for protection and also requested for restoration of his name in the revenue records.

If the grievance of the petitioner is illegal encroachment or attempt to dispossess or prevent from cultivating his land by the private parties, petitioner has to work out civil law remedies, as available in law. If it is the grievance of petitioner that illegally his name was deleted from the revenue records, then petitioner has to apply in accordance with the provisions of A.P. Rights in Land and Pattedar Pass Books Act 1971, and such application has to be considered only by the Tahsildar. Thus, the relief sought in the writ petition cannot be granted.

Thus, leaving it open to the petitioner to work out his remedies as available in law alleging involvement of third parties and on deletion of his name in the revenue records, the writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
