In these Writ Petitions, the petitioners assail the action of respondents in not paying hire charges at the floor rate applicable for the actual operational distance for operating their respective buses as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles 14 and 19 (1) (g) of the Constitution of India.

The petitioners claim to have submitted earlier representations for the said purpose in the year 2012, but the learned Standing Counsel for respondents states that it is difficult to locate the said representations and that the petitioners should be directed to submit fresh representations.

In view of the said submissions, these three Writ Petitions are disposed of directing the petitioners to submit fresh representations to the respondents highlighting their grievance within two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order, and the 2nd respondent will pass orders thereon within a further period of three (03) weeks after receipt of copy of the said representations. 4.

Accordingly, the Writ Petitions are disposed of

with the above directions. No order as to costs. 5.
