Article 226 of the Constitution of lndia praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly a Writ in the nature of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent in not considering the case of the petitioner for appointment as Office Assistant in the respondent bank on preferential basis than the outside candidates in pursuance of the notification issued by the respondent on 30-8-20',t4 as illegal' arbitrary and violation of principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondent to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment as office Assistant on preferential basis than the outside candidates in pursuance of the notification issued by the respondent on 30-08-2014 in view of his continuous seryice in the respondent bank since, 2OO4 in the interest of justice.

This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of the respondent-bank in not considering the case of the petitioner for appointment as Office Assistant on preferential basis than the outside candidates in pursuance of the notification, dated 30.08.20 14, issued by it.

When the matter is taken-up for hearing, Sri S.Ravi, learned counsel representing Sri S.Surender Reddy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that due to efflr.rx of time, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. 3.
