Hussain Bin Ali, v. State Of Telangana,
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION NO.2259 OF 2015 ORDER:
There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. The prayer sought in the Writ Petition reads as under:- "...to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one I the nature of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents/police, more particularly 4th respondent in not completing the investigation in FIR.No.26 of of Lallaguda Police Station, Secunderabad, as illegal, arbitrary and violation of provisions of Code of Criminal Procedure and the Police Standing Orders and consequently direct the 4th respondent to complete the investigation and file charge sheet and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."
During the course of hearing, the learned Government Pleader for Home placed on record the written instructions dated 16.09.2019 issued by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Lallaguda Police Station, Hyderabad City.
A perusal of the said written instructions would indicate that pursuant to the registration of Crime No.26 of 2013, investigation was conducted and after completion of the same, final report was filed on 20.09.2016 referring the case as 'lack of evidence'.
In view of the above, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the Writ Petition.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
