O R D E R

For the alleged illegal construction of unofficial respondent No.5, 4th respondent - Gram Panchayat, issued notice dated 15.06.2017, and as no action was being taken, petitioner filed W.P.No.43177 of 2017. This court by interim order dated 19.12.2017, directed the 4th respondent to take final decision pursuant to the notice dated 15.06.2017. Complaining that the 4th respondent has not taken final decision in pursuance of notice dated 15.06.2017, as directed by this court, present contempt case is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Sri G.Seshadri, learned Standing Counsel for 4th respondent - Gram Panchayat, submits that 4th respondent issued final notice dated 29.09.2018 and the unofficial respondent No.5 in the writ petition, filed her explanation on 30.09.2018 and that 4th respondent would consider the same take action in accordance with law.

In view of the above facts and circumstances of the case, 4th respondent is directed to consider the explanation dated 30.09.2018 submitted by unofficial respondent No.5 in the writ petition, and after giving opportunity of hearing to the said unofficial respondent No.5 and the writ petitioner, take appropriate action in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
