ORAL ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services III (TG) and with their consent the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission. 2.
Charge memo was issued to petitioner on 15.12.2016 on certain allegations relating to period when he was working in Mahabubnagar municipality as Town Planning Building Overseer. He was later promoted as Town Planning Supervisor and now due for promotion to the post of Town Planning Officer. On 26.7.2018 Government appointed enquiry officer to conduct enquiry against the petitioner and two others. The present writ petition is filed alleging that on account of the long pendency of the disciplinary proceedings, petitioner is not being considered for promotion and for no fault on his part, disciplinary proceedings are pending.

At this stage learned counsel for petitioner submitted that if some time limit is prescribed for completion of enquiry, it would suffice the interest of the petitioner.

Having regard to the said submission, without going into the merits of the matter, writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to complete the enquiry as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed.
