THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.31378 of 2018 O R D E R:

Petitioner asserts that he submitted an application on 21.06.2018 to respondent No.4-Tahsildar, Konduru Mandal, Mahaboobnagar District in terms of Section 5-A of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 seeking mutation of his name in the revenue records with respect to various extents of land in different survey numbers of Pedda Yelkicharla, Kondurgu Mandal, Mahabubnagar District.

Thereupon, respondent authorities issued notice to the vendor of the petitioner on 16.08.2016, but they have not taken any further action in disposing of the application. Hence, he seeks a Writ of Mandamus.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue submits that a direction may be issued to respondent No.4 to dispose of the application submitted by the petitioner strictly by following the due procedure.

Hence, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 to dispose of the application submitted by the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, strictly by following the due procedure.
