Malladi Narasimha Swamy v. The State Of A.P. Rep. By Secretary Home Department,
THE HONOURABLE MR JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.1550 of 2015
ORDER
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Home.
2. The petitioner filed the present writ petition alleging that in spite of the complaint made by him and his wife on 07.09.2014 and 05.11.2014, neither crime is registered nor action is taken by respondents 3 and 4.
3. Instructions received by the learned Government Pleader for Home, however, show that the petitioner lodged a complaint on 01.02.2015 with the Station House Officer, Allavaram Police Station, and based on that complaint, a case in Cr.No.16 of 2015 was registered and the investigation of the case is taken up. It is stated that five witnesses were already examined and that since the accused are absconding from the date of registration of the FIR, efforts are being made to arrest them.
4. In view of the aforesaid instructions that the crime has already been registered and is under investigation, no directions are called for, except directing the Investigating Officer to complete the investigation expeditiously and then take further steps in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
