Petitioner asserts that he submitted an application on 05.01.2017 to respondent No.4-Deputy Tahsildar & PIO (under RTI Act), Sattenapalli invoking the provisions of the Right to Information Act (for short 'the Act'). He further asserts that as no information was furnished by respondent No.4, he filed an appeal before respondent No.3-Revenue Divisional Officer & FAA on 21.02.2017. Now, his grievance is that even respondent No.3 has not passed any orders in the appeal till today. Hence, he seeks a Writ of Mandamus.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

Having regard to the nature of relief as sought by the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to dispose of the appeal said to have been filed by the petitioner on 21.02.2017, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
