HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE B. SIVA SANKARA RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.6077 of 2013 ORDER :

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner/accused No.6 under Section 482 Cr.P.C to quash the proceedings in C.C. No.233 of 2012 on the file of Special Mobile Magistrate, Guntur, where the learned Magistrate has taken cognizance for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 494 IPC, which is outcome of report of 1st respondent-de facto complainant in Crime No.388 of 2011 of Guntur Rural Police Station, Guntur.

2) It is represented by the learned Public Prosecutor that the parties compromised in the above crime and the compromise was recorded before the Lok Adalat as pre-litigation case and the present proceedings sought for against the calender case no way survives and as such the Criminal Petition becomes infructuous.

3) In the result, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
