THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.5242 OF 2009 ORDER:

The writ petition was filed for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 for taking action against the third respondent for not complying with the instructions of the second respondent in the matter of payment of salaries to the petitioner and other Lecturers on par with the Teachers working in Law Colleges run by the Government or University or Aided Colleges with effect from the date from which the revised University Grants Commission (UGC) Scales were brought into effect in Andhra Pradesh. While admitting the writ petition, this Court by order dated 17.03.2009, directed the third respondent to pay the salary to the petitioner as was being paid prior to March, 2008 until further orders. The said order has been in operation till today.

When the writ petition was filed in 2009, the petitioner was aged 56 years and due to passage of time, she must have been retired from service on attaining superannuation. In view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition.
