HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SURESH KUMAR KAIT C.C. No. 1290 of 2017 O R D E R:- The learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition appearing on behalf of the respondents, on advance notice, submits that in pursuance of the order dated 29.08.2016 in W.P.No. 28988 of 2016 passed by this Court, the respondents, after taking into consideration the legal notice dated 20.07.2016 issued by the petitioners through their advocate, passed the Award in the month of February, 2017 in respect of the acquisition proceedings in question.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he has not received any instructions from his clients to this effect.

Since the learned Government Pleader has made the above submission across the bar, there is no occasion for this Court to disbelieve his version.

In view of the above, the Contempt Case is closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to revive this Contempt Case if the statement made by the learned Government Pleader is found to be untrue. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
