Today, by a separate order passed in L.A.A.S.M.P.No.298 of 2017, we have declined to condone the delay of 1,139 days in filing this appeal. In view of dismissal of L.A.A.S.M.P.No.298 of 2017, the appeal stands rejected.

As a sequel to rejection of the appeal, L.A.A.S.M.P.No.299 of 2017 filed by the appellant for interim relief shall stand dismissed as infructuous.
