THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.31647 of 2018 ORDER:

In this writ petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the only grievance of the petitioner is non-consideration of his representation, dated 17.02.2018, for payment of compensation in terms of the letter of the 3rd respondent, dated 23.05.2015, addressed to the 4th respondent and other officers of the A.P. Transco.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that if a direction is given to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, ends of justice would be met.

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 4 to 7 submitted that the authority concerned will consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner as per law and procedure. Having regard to the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 5th respondent to consider and dispose of the representation, dated 17.02.2018, of the petitioner in strict accordance with the procedure established by law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken thereon to the petitioner within a week thereafter. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions pending in this Writ Petition, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
