THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 12879 of 2011 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioners in this case was that the police had not registered a crime on the basis of their legal notice dated 22.11.2010. The Sub Inspector of Police, Buttaigudem Police Station, West Godavari District, filed a counter affidavit stating that on the basis of the complaint made by the

petitioners a case in Crime No.60 of 2011 was registered under Sections 447 and 506 I.P.C on the file of the Buttaigudem Police Station on 10.06.2011 and that investigation was taken up. He further undertook to complete the investigation expeditiously and file an appropriate report before the competent Criminal Court under Section 173 Cr.P.C.

In the light of the counter affidavit averments, it is clear that the grievance of the petitioners that no action was taken upon their complaint is without basis. The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed.

Pending Miscellaneous Petitions shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
