HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM CONTEMPT CASE No.747 OF 2016 ORDER:

The Contempt Case is filed complaining the in action on the part of the respondent-authorities in complying the interim order dated 04.03.2015 and final order dated 11.03.2016, passed by this Court in W.P.M.P.No.9174 of 2016 and in W.P.No.7188 of 2016 respectively. In the proceedings dated 17.02.2016, issued by the Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Kadapa, appointing the Assistant Registrar, Office of Sub Divisional Cooperative Officer, Kamalapuram, Y.S.R. Kadapa District, as the person in-charge of the Society. Taking into consideration of the averments made by the respective parties, this Court directed the status quo to be maintained for a period of two weeks. Alleging that the respondents had violated the status quo order passed by this Court, the present Contempt Case is filed.

A detailed counter-affidavit is filed by the 3rd respondent wherein it was stated that the person-in-charge has assumed charge on 18.02.2016 and has been discharging his duties by attending the affairs of the society from that date. On two occasions, the matter was listed and on 10.06.2016 time was sought for filing reply. No reply has been filed by the petitioner. As the averments in the counter-affidavit being unrebutted accepting the same, the contempt case is closed. Accordingly, the contempt case is closed.
