This Writ Petition is filed challenging the inaction of respondent No.2 in registering and releasing the documents of declaration of cancellation of registered cancellation deeds. This Court by Order, dated 09-12-2009, directed respondent No.2 to consider registration of the pending documents bearing P.Nos.147, 148, 149 and 150 of 2009 submitted by the petitioners and release the same, if there are no legal hurdles. It was also made clear that if the documents were not registerable for any reason, respondent No.2 shall pass orders under Section 71 of the Registration Act, 1908. Pursuant to the said interim order, when refusal orders were passed by respondent No.2, the petitioners have filed WP.No.29294 of 2010.

By a separate order passed today, the aforesaid Writ Petition has been dismissed. In view of the same, this Writ Petition has become infructuous and the same is, accordingly, dismissed as such.
