THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.1989 of 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings in D.V.C.No.84 of 2015 on the file of the Special Mobile Magistrate, Guntur, Guntur District, for the offence under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Public Prosecutor and perused the material available on record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the Criminal Petition is disposed of with the following directions : The presence of petitioners herein is dispensed with before the trial Court and the trial Court is directed to proceed with the trial in the D.V.C. No.84 of 2015 and to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible.
