Aggrieved by the action of the respondents in not completing the investigation in Crime No.390 of 2018 of Gajuwaka Police Station, Visakhapatnam City, dated 30.06.2018, this Writ Petition is filed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, who submits that though crime No.390 of 2018 has been registered on 30.06.2018 by the Gajuwaka Police Station, the police are not proceeding with the investigation, without filing any charge sheet.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondents 1 & 2 produced written instructions dated 05.09.2018 stating that investigation is almost completed and an appropriate report under Section 173 of Cr.P.C will be filed before the concerned Court, after completing the required procedure and formalities, as expeditiously as possible. Recording the submission of the learned Assistant Government, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent-Investigating Officer to file report under Section 173 of Cr.P.C within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, since it is stated that investigation is completed.
