This Writ Petition is filed, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for the following relief: "declaring the action of respondents in not granting the pensions to the eligible old aged, physically handicapped and widow candidates belongs to Brahmanapally Grampanchayat, Marripadu Mandal, S.P.S.R Nellore District inspite of the eligible list sent by the Grampanchayt Level committee and without even following the criteria adopted by the respondents in other villages of the district as illegal, arbitrary, abuse of process of law, violation of principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondents to reconsider the eligible list for sanction of pension to the old age, physically handicapped and widow candidates of Brahmanpally Village, Marripadu Mandal, S.P.S.R Nellore District by following the criteria adopted by the respondents in other villages and as per guidelines issued in G.O.Ms. No.135, dated 17.09.2014."

When the matter is called, it is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that for redressal of grievance of the petitioner, the petitioner herein submitted a representation on 22.12.2016 to the Mandal Parishad Development Officer, Marripadu, the 4th respondent herein and no action has been taken on the said representation so far.

On the other hand, it is submitted by learned Standing Counsel for the 4th respondent that appropriate action will be taken in accordance with law.

Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the Mandal Parishad Development Officer, Marripadu, the 4th respondent herein, to consider the representation, dated 16.01.2017, said to have been submitted by the petitioner and take

appropriate action, in accordance with law within a period of two
