During the course of hearing, learned counsel for the parties agreed that in view of order passed in WP.No.36296 of 2024 decided on 26.12.2024, this petition may be disposed of by permitting the petitioner to press his stay application (if pending) before the appellate authority and also with a direction to the appellate authority to make an endeavour to decide the stay application (if any) and appeal expeditiously.

[n view of consensus arrived at, the Writ Petition is disposed of in terms arrived at. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits ofthe case. No order as to costs.
