This petition is filed challenging the action of the 4th respondent in interfering with the civil disputes between the petitioner and 5th respondent, without having any power in his official capacity and in threatening the petitioner stating that false cases would be registered against him The allegations made by the petitioner were denied in para-7 and 8 of the counter stating that at any point of time, the respondent police never summoned the petitioner nor interfered with the civil disputes of the petitioner as alleged; that the respondent police never threatened the petitioner saying that they would register false cases against the petitioner; and that to prevent the respondent police from taking any action against the petitioner, in the event of lodging of any complaint by the 5th respondent, the petitioner filed the present writ petition without any cause of action.
Learned Counsel for the petitioner states that writ petition can be disposed of recording the counter affidavit of the respondent police.
In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of recording the aforesaid submissions made in the counter. However, the respondent police shall not interfere with the civil disputes of the
petitioner and shall not to pressurise the petitioner to settle the civil dispute. No order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
