ORDER:
On 22.05.2018, petitioner was placed under suspension and also called for his explanation on the charges levelled against him. Alleging that petitioner is illegally continued under suspension for such a long time, this writ petition is filed. 2.
According to learned counsel for petitioner, petitioner submitted his application on 30.05.2018, but there is no further progress.

According to learned standing counsel, explanation dated 21.08.2018 was received by the 2nd respondent on 21.08.2018 and therefore, it cannot be said that there is inordinate delay. 4.
Court is not entering into the rival claims. As petitioner has already submitted his explanation, the Project Director (2nd respondent) is directed to complete the disciplinary proceedings as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. For any reason, not attributable to petitioner, proceedings are not finalized within the time granted, suspension of petitioner may be revoked.
