Heard.

The petitioner states that she is a widow and her husband K.Prabhu was allotted the land admeasuring Ac.5-00 cents in Sy.No.20/1 of Miyapur Village, Rajendranagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, as per the Land Reforms Tribunal judgment in C.C.No.192/W/95 subject to payment of Rs.276-96 paisa in ten equal instalments starting from 01-01-1980 to 01-01-1990. It is stated that due to the death of her husband, the balance amount was not paid. As the petitioner and her sons are not educated and were not aware of the obligation to pay the balance instalments, the General Power of Attorney of the petitioner made an application to the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, Telangana State, on 25-03-2015 requesting to allot 5 aces of land on payment of balance instalments.

Alleging that no action is taken thereon, the present writ petition is filed. It is evident from the above that except three instalments, no amount was paid in pursuance of the conditional agreement. After lapse of several years, the aforesaid application is filed by the General Power of Attorney of the petitioner. The said application of the petitioner deserves appropriate consideration in the light of the existing policy of the State and the 2nd respondent has to examine the same and communicate appropriate decision to the petitioner.

Hence, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to examine the petitioner's application as per the provisions of law and the existing policy of the State and take appropriate decision and communicate the same to the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. No order as to

costs.
