The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents placed on record the written instructions dated 23.08.2014 issued by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Malakpet Police Station, Hyderabad. 4.
From a perusal of the said written instructions, it is revealed that the first petitioner lodged a complaint on 13.08.2014 with the respondent No.2 stating that the electric meter along with wire bearing Service No. P 2026424 belonging to her house bearing No.16-11511/ C/ 21 situated at Shalivahana Nagar Colony, Moosarambagh, Malakpet, Hyderabad, was stolen by one Yellaiah and requested to take necessary action. Basing on the said complaint, an entry was made in the General Diary. During the course of enquiry with the Electricity Department at Asmangadh, it was revealed that the Electricity Department connected the said electric meter to the house of the petitioner temporarily and thereafter, the Electricity Department
had taken away the said meter. Therefore, the respondent No.2 advised the petitioners to approach the Electricity Department for redressal. It is also further stated in the written instructions that the respondent No.2 never interfered or tried to demolish the house of the petitioners bearing No.16-11-511/ C/ 21 and 16-11-511/ D/ 97 situated at Shalivahana Nagar Colony, Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad, at any point of time as alleged by the petitioners.
5.
In that view of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that there are no merits in the writ petition and the same is liable to be dismissed.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. As a sequel thereto, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
