HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO Writ Petition No. 15858 of 2016 Order:

The petitioner, who claims to have completed B.Com degree examination, was appointed as Office Assistant on contract basis in the year 2001 in the first respondent-Organization. It appears that he was removed from service on certain allegations and his services were not being utilized by the Contractor without issuing any orders. Now there is change in the Contractor and as per the practise the changed contractor utilizes the services of earlier contract labour. In view of the same, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents 2 to 4 on 01.04.2016 seeking his re-employment and, when the same was not disposed of, the present Writ Petition was filed.

2. Learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submitted that the petitioner was earlier removed from service on certain allegations; hence, he could not be continued with the new contractor.

3. However, without going into the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to dispose of the Writ Petition with a direction to the respondents 2 to 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.04.2016 and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

5. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
