THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.32564 of 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "... to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus a) declaring the action of the respondents in not preventing the illegal sand mining quarry operations at Pillanka and Govalanka sand reaches of Thallarevu Mandal East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh as illegal, arbitrary and in violation of G.O.Ms.No.42, dated 29.03.2016, issued by the 1st respondent, order No.2/DEIAA/AP/EG-EC/2017, dated Nil.05.2017 issued by the 3rd respondent and in violation of Articles 14 of the Constitution of India.

b) Further order the respondents to implement all Government orders to protect the spirit of the State for free sand mining operation and thereby eradicate illegal and mining business in Pillanka and Govalanka sand reaches of Thallarevu Mandal East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh."

The material available on record discloses that for redressal of the grievance of the petitioner, the petitioner submitted representation on 05.09.2017 to the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the same, no action has been taken so far in the direction of preventing the illegal sand quarry.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to respondent Nos.3, 5 and 7 to take appropriate action on the representation, dated 05.09.2017, said to have been made by the petitioner, as per law.
