HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 31771 of 2018 ORDER:

1) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Government Pleader for Revenue. With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of respondent Nos.2 to 4 in effecting mutation in the name of the petitioner in revenue records in respect of lands admeasuring Ac.0.10 guntas in Survey No.149/7, situated at Kistampet village under Chennur Revenue Mandal, Mancherial District, inspite of submitting application under Form 6 (A) vide No.MU021701583530 on 06.12.2017, as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 300-A of the Constitution of India.

3) Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the application dated 06.12.2017, made by the petitioner, seeking mutation of his name in the revenue records.

4) Learned Government Pleader for Revenue submits that if the said application is still pending consideration, the same would be considered in accordance with law, at the earliest. 5) Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent - authorities to dispose of the application dated 06.12.2017, made by the petitioner, seeking mutation of his name in the revenue records, in respect of the above said lands, in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. 6) Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order.
