O R D E R
The case of the petitioner is that she is the absolute owner and possessor of the property bearing H.No.1-8-394, Balasamudram, Hanmakonda, Warangal District having purchased the same from her vendor Kemidi Beeraiah for valuable sale consideration. The said property was assessed by the Warangal Municipal Corporation and the assessment certificate was also issued by the Deputy Commissioner. By ignoring the said fact, the 1st respondent authorities demolished the petitioner's premises on 06.05.2012 without any notice. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed. This Court at the time of issuing notice before admission on 27.09.2013 granted status quo until further orders.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Smt Pingali Lakshmi, learned Standing counsel for respondent-Corporation. No counter is filed.
The petitioner asserts her rights basing on the registered sale deed and states that she has paid property tax to the Municipal Corporation. If the respondents want to acquire the property of the petitioner, they have to follow due process of law.
Since the interim order is operating from the year 2012, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents not to interfere with the property of the petitioner without following due process of law.
