THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S. RAVI KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.11113 of 2012

ORDER:

This writ is filed to declare the action of respondents in not considering petitioner's representations dated 11-11-2010 & 07-04-2012 is arbitrary, illegal and violative of Articles 19, 21 & 350 of the Constitution and consequently to direct the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 11-11-2010 & 07-04-2012 as expeditiously as possible.

2. According to petitioner, his mother R. Kamalamma, while working as a Sweeper in the second respondent-Devasthanams, died on 08-05-1995 consequently, petitioner's brother R. Venkata Kannaiah was given appointment as Assistant/ Shroff on compassionate grounds, who was unmarried, but unfortunately, he also died on 02-01-2006 and as the petitioner is the only surviving legal representative of late Kamalamma, he submitted representation to the second respondent on 0803-2006 to provide a job to him on compassionate grounds and later submitted representations to first respondent on 11-11-2010 & 07-04-2012, but no action has been taken on his representations and therefore, he was constrained to approach this Court seeking a direction to first respondent to dispose of his representations dated 11-11-2010 & 07-04-2012 as expeditiously as possible.

3. No counter is filed on behalf of Government, but second respondent-TTD filed counter contending that the representation submitted to TTD on 08-032006 was already rejected on 29-09-2007 and TTD is nothing to do with the representations submitted to the first respondent.

4. Heard arguments.

5. The only request made by the petitioner is to give a direction to the first respondent to dispose of his representations dated 11-11-2010 & 07-04-2012 as expeditiously as possible. As Government has not filed any counter, it is not known whether those representations are disposed of or still pending with them. But Advocate for petitioner submitted, according to his instructions, those representations are still pending with the Government and considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, I deem it appropriate to direct the first respondent to dispose of representations of the petitioner dated 11-11-2010 & 07-04-2012, if still pending, as expeditiously as possible.

6. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly and as a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand disposed of. No costs. __________________________ JUSTICE S. RAVI KUMAR Date:12.10.2015 mrb
