HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.31732 OF 2018 O R D E R :

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the 3rd respondent in not completing investigation and submitting the report in Crime No.25/2015.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions stating that in Crime No.25/2018, the Investigation Officer has examined five witnesses and recorded their statements; that the relevant documents from the Revenue and Registration Department are to be obtained and examined for the purpose of investigation; and that still some more witnesses are to be examined.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the concerned Investigating Officer to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible keeping in view of the spirit under Section 173(1) Cr.P.C. and file appropriate report. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
