I.A.No.1 of 2023 is filed seeking to permit the parties to compromise the matter in terms of the Memorandum of Compromise enclosed along with the application. 2.

The report of the Secretary, High Court Legal Services Committee reveals that both the parties i.e., the appellant and the contesting respondent have appeared before the Committee and have been identified.

Since the parties have compromised the matter, the conviction imposed by the trial Court against the accused for the offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, sentencing him to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of one month and to pay the cheque amount of Rs.5,00,000/- is hereby set aside.

Accordingly, this Criminal Revision Case is disposed of in terms of the Memorandum of Compromise.

GAC, J Crl.R.C.No.844 of 2022 Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
