THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 9959 of 2011 ORDER:- Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. With the consent of both the parties, the main writ petition itself is heard at the admission stage. The averments made in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition are that the petitioner is the daughter of one Sri Veeraboina Ramaswamy @ V. Ramaswamy who was recognized as a freedom fighter for the independence of the country. As a token of his service, the Government of A.P. allotted to him land admeasuring Acs.4.8 guntas situated in Survey No.887 of Jawaharnagar Land Colonization, Medchal Taluk and he was put in possession of the same.

As the revenue authorities have not granted a patta certificate in favour of the petitioner's father, applications were made from time to time for grant of patta certificate. Thereafter, the petitioner's father died on 11.12.1987 leaving behind the petitioner as his sole legal heir. Thereafter, the revenue authorities failed to issue a patta certificate to her in spite of repeated requests. On the other hand, they stated that the name of her father was removed from the revenue records and that she cannot claim the property. Aggrieved by their attitude, the petitioner made a representation dated 05.03.2011 to the respondents seeking possession of the land allotted to her father by entering her name in the revenue records.

not disposed of, the present writ petition is filed. The learned Government Pleader for Revenue submits that he has no objection, if a direction is given for disposal of the representation dated 05.03.2011 made by the petitioner if it is pending consideration till now.

In view of the submission made by the learned Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 05.03.2011 made by the petitioner, if the same is still pending consideration, and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, at the earliest. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed.
