HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO Writ Petition No. 39729 of 2012 Order:

This writ petition was filed challenging the proceedings of the first respondent issued in F.No.89-458/2012 Appeal A 60533, dated 16.08.2012, confirming the order of the second respondent, dated 06.07.2012, rejecting the application of the petitioners for grant of recognition for starting D.El.Ed course for the academic year 2012-13.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the second respondent submits that new Rules have come into force with effect from 01.11.2014 and the petitioners have to apply afresh as per the new Rules and if they fulfill the criteria under the new Rules, their case would be considered.

3. In view of the new Rules coming into force, liberty is given to the petitioners to apply afresh as per the new Rules and no relief can be granted in the present Writ Petition.

4. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed. However, in the circumstances, no costs.

5. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
